2016 NYC Dumpling Festival

The 13th Annual NYC Dumpling Festival, will be held on Saturday, September 24 in honor of the worldwide snack, the dumpling, at Sarah D. Roosevelt Park in Manhattan. Popular vendors from around the city will be featured at this event to share their diverse dumplings. 100% of the net proceeds will benefit Food Bank For New York City. 60 Volunteers are needed! Volunteer shifts throughout the entire day for individuals, groups and culinary volunteers are available. VOLUNTEER DUTIES As an Event Support Volunteer you’ll assist with setup, registration support, guest check-in and ticketing, handing out materials, giving directions, culinary duties (if applicable) and general event support tasks. IMPORTANT VOLUNTEER INFORMATION Event is rain or shine! Dress Code: Volunteer T-Shirt (provided), and comfortable shoes. Dress appropriately for the weather No secure storage for volunteer belongings.
