Stamp Out Hunger 2016

Come join us in the fight against hunger on Saturday, May 14 for the annual Stamp Out Hunger campaign! We partner with the USPS and the National Association of Letter Carriers in Brooklyn, and on this day, the entire borough of Brooklyn will be donating food to help our neighbors in need! We will have volunteers at 8 participating supermarkets to raise awareness about the campaign and urge customers to buy foods and donate them directly at the stores once they have checked out. Food drive bins will be set up at the exits and many supermarkets will have great specials for non-perishable food items to encourage their customers to participate. As Food Bank representatives you will be handing out flyers right outside of the entrance to educate customers about the initiative! There will be shirts and pins on site for you to wear and keep. As a bonus, all volunteers will receive a ticket to the National Association of Letter Carriers’ Annual “Beer Bust” on Saturday 6/11 at 6:30pm featuring all you can eat food and drink!
