2nd Annual Farm To Food Bank in Union Square

Food Bank is hosting its second Farm to Food Bank Food Drive in partnership with Greenmarket, GrowNYC on Friday, September 23!
Volunteers will deliver bags to vendors, distribute flyers and Food Bank swag to shoppers and farmers to raise awareness, collect donated fresh fruit and vegetables from vendors in Union Square, and assist loading the Food Bank truck with produce donations.
T-shirts will be provided. Shifts throughout the day are available for groups of up to 25 volunteers.
IMPORTANT VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
- Dress Code: Comfortable Shoes
- No secure storage for volunteer belongings. Please do not bring more with you than will fit in your pocket
- You may be asked to stand for an extended periods of time or to perform light lifting
