Hunger In America Survey Training & Orientation

Join the Food Bank’s Hunger Task Force this summer!

Hunger in America is a nationwide survey compiled by hunger relief organizations every four years.  Results are provided to policy makers and advocacy groups to inform policy change.   This year, Food Bank For New York City will be the only organization conducting this research in the entire city. Without this data, we have no way of showing how desperate the need is for hunger relief.  And the need is worse than ever before.

As a Task Force member, you will travel to 110 partner agencies to interview clients of food pantries and document the experience of hunger victims in our city.
