Check Out Hunger Campaign Prep
Help us give back to New Yorkers in need this holiday season with the Check Out Hunger Campaign!
Check-Out Hunger is a campaign that runs from the fall into the winter holiday season at supermarkets, grocery stores and even non-grocery retail shops throughout the five boroughs!
Placards with coupons are placed at cash registers and customers can choose to donate $1, $3, or $5 at the register during checkout. The campaign has been around for 26 years, and in the past Food Bank For NYC has been able to raise over $150,000! Equivalent to 750,000 meals! With your help, we’re hoping to raise 1 MILLION MEALS this year!
Volunteers are needed to help us assemble the materials into store kits for our grocery store partners.
