Tax Center Phone Bank Support

A Tax Center Phone Bank Support volunteer assist eligible low-income tax filers in by answering basic questions about free tax services, schedules appointments at tax sites and follows up with clients.

Duties:
•	Answers basic tax questions for inbound calls to Food Bank’s hotline.
•	Screens for eligibility for free tax services.
•	Schedule appointments for tax assistance at free service providers.
•	Work with site staff to provide off-site support
•	Keep accurate, organized records of client engagements in secure online database.
•	Maintain the confidentiality of customer information.

Qualifications:
•	Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.  
•	Basic knowledge of tax filing practices and office procedures.
•	Enthusiastic, friendly, dependable and flexible.
•	Organizational skills.
•	Bilingual – Spanish Preferred
