Supper Klub in West Harlem

***PLEASE NOTE***
As part of Food Bank's response to COVID-19, we have made program adjustments to help prioritize the safety of our clients and volunteers. During all meal services, our clients will receive to-go meals rather than dining on site. During all pantry hours, our clients will receive to-go pantry bags rather than shopping in our pantry space. For all shifts, volunteer support will remain vital. THANK YOU for your service to your fellow New Yorkers during this time.

Food Bank’s Supper Klub – our City’s first EVER community kitchen by kids, for kids – is a gathering for young New Yorkers to make a BIG impact for our neighbors in need. Food Bank created Supper Klub as a safe and stigma-free space where YOU can build a community with your peers around food, fun, and service.
ALL teens ages 13 to 19 are invited to join us as volunteers -- and every volunteer gets a hot meal at the end of their service shift.
Whether you’re hungry and in need of a meal or looking for something impactful to do after school, we encourage teens to participate as both servers and diners. Small groups of up to 10 people per shift (think: siblings, cousins, friends and classmates) are also welcome! Parents/guardians may also volunteer and join the meal if accompanying a minor.
Volunteer shifts start at 3 PM. Teens run the dining room by helping greet and serve guests, set tables, and clear away meals. Before your shift ends at 5 PM, volunteers also get a hot meal.
Let us help you plan a Supper Klub party or a service day for your group  – contact us at volunteer@foodbanknyc.org to get started!

PLEASE NOTE: We ask that volunteers of all ages wear long pants and closed-toe shoes to serve in our dining room – please no sandals, shorts/skirts above the knee, or tank tops/spaghetti straps. Volunteers not wearing appropriate attire may be turned away at the discretion of Kitchen staff.
