Dinner Service in West Harlem

The Food Bank’s Community Kitchen offers New Yorkers in West Harlem a broad range of programs to alleviate food poverty, including a soup kitchen that serves hot meals.

Volunteers are needed to help cook, serve and stock food in the kitchen.


What to wear?

Volunteers should wear closed shoes or sneakers and comfortable clothes, such as jeans and t-shirts. For groups of volunteers, we recommend you wear a team color or your corporate t-shirts.

Please Note: All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older to work in our kitchen.
