Bronx: Support Emergency Pop-Up Distributions in Partnership with NYCHA

As part of Food Bank's response to COVID-19, help support a special series of pop-up distributions to help ensure that our most vulnerable neighbors have access to the food they need.

In partnership with NYCHA, Food Bank will hold emergency pop-up distributions across all five boroughs to reach New Yorkers close to home. This page includes opportunities taking place in the BRONX. (Looking for another borough? Follow these links for more opportunities in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island.)

We urgently need volunteers to help support these distributions by handing out groceries to clients, replenishing product at table stations throughout the day, and assisting with setup and breakdown. Food Bank will supply gloves and hand sanitizer at all locations and is following CDC guidance on social distancing. For more about the steps Food Bank is taking to protect our volunteers, please see our COVID-19 FAQs.

Volunteers must be 18 or above to participate in this opportunity and may be asked to sign an affirmation upon arrival that they are not experiencing flu-like symptoms.
