Repack in the Bronx
Our Bronx Food Distribution Warehouse distributes food to kitchens and pantries throughout the five boroughs, supplying 400,000 meals to New Yorkers in need each day! Sort food and health supplies into boxes of specific categories and weights during a shift. These boxes are then entered into warehouse inventory and shipped directly to our Member Agencies.
To maintain this program’s high-output service, we can only offer a shift when 20 or more volunteers express interest. Volunteers must be 17 or older. Closed-toed shoes are required. Parking is available for a $3 fee.
How to Sign Up INDIVIDUALS and SMALL TEAMS (Less than 20)
- Select “Express Interest” below.
- Add the names of any team members who are interested in attending.
- One to two weeks before the event, if 20 or more volunteers have expressed interest, we will lock-in that event and confirm you and any team members; if there are fewer than 20, we will not run it and will inform you at that point of the cancellation.
How to Sign Up LARGE TEAMS (20 or more)
- If you are the team captain, select “Express Interest” below.
- Add the names of all team members who are interested in attending.
- We will review your team’s information and will let you know within 72 hours if we will be able to confirm your team and lock-in the event.
